As friends and past co-workers with Elwood, we celebrate the life of Barbara Ann. Her zest for life was evident to all who knew her- she was always happy and smiling whenever we saw her. The many years she gave of herself to caring for the children on her school bus was a joy to her and a gift to those she served. Praising God that she is out of pain and with Him in Heaven. Our prayers go to all the family members and friends who loved and cared for her so dearly.
As the next-door neighbors of Barbara and Elwood, we share the grief and loss together with the entire family and loved ones. We will indeed miss Barbara and her very sharp intellect and always with a smile on her face, despite her health challenges in her later years. We also celebrate her as a true Christian with a very strong faith. She inspired us as she did with all those that she touched during her time on earth as being a righteous soul. May she rest in peace and continue her work in heaven.
I’m so sorry. Barbara was a good friend of my mother’s and a very sweet lady. I enjoyed so much running into her and Elwood during my lunch breaks when I worked in Front Royal.
I was sorry to hear about the loss of Mrs. Wines. Prayers for all her family.
