Theodore “Ted” Bauer of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Monday March 23, 2020.
Ted was born on November 30, 1946 to the late Florence M. & James F. Bauer in Arlington Virginia. Surviving is his lovely wife of 18 years, Carol Lavallee; brothers James “Jimmy” Bauer II, Mark Bauer Sr.; sisters Nancy Bauer Ludlow, Susan Bauer Whitehurst and Margie Bauer Schairer and her husband Mark; as well as an abundance of his Native American family.
Ted was a proud Vietnam combat veteran that attained the rank of Captain while he served with the Combat Engineers. He was very active in the local American Legion Post 53, as well as a member of the local Moose Lodge #829. He was a Pipe Carrier in his Native American tribe and had the honor to pass the traditions and teachings of his tribe along to the younger generations of Native Americans.

Teddy was always a very nice and welcoming person. He had a wonderful, peaceful spirit. His niece, Cathy loved him very much.
Ted was a great guy. My husband and I will always remember him with great memories. We are just learning of his passing. RIP my friend.
