Pauline Silvus Funk, 93, of Strasburg, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at her home.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 3 PM at Bennett’s Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Dottie Holden officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal.
Mrs. Funk was born on January 8, 1927 in Berryville, Virginia to the late James and Letticia Harris Silvus. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas William Funk; daughter, Sharon Ann Funk; son, Perry Paul Pultz; three brothers, Theodore Silvus, James Silvus Jr. and Charles Silvus and three sisters, Helen Jordan, Lillian Loveless and Evelyn Virginia Funkhouser.
Survivors include her daughter Cindy Frederick; three sons, Danny Lee Silvus, Roger Lee Silvus and Thomas Wayne Pultz; sister, Ruby Malone; 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
Sending my most sincere sympathy and condolences along with prayers and much love to all. Pauline will certainly be missed by many. Thankfully we have the opportunity to be with her in Heaven for all eternity.
