James “Jim” William Adelmann

James “Jim” William Adelmann, 81, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021, at Heritage Hall in Front Royal.

Mr. Adelmann was born on December 19, 1939, in Darby, Pennsylvania to the late Louis and Catherine Sullivan Adelmann. Mr. Adelmann was a graduate of Saint James High School in Chester, Pennsylvania, and Temple University in Philadelphia.

He was preceded in death by his longtime companion, Marcia Golden; brother, Louis F. Adelmann, Jr. and sister, Catherine Adelmann Shaffer. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Survivors include his sister, Rosemary Busedu and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Arrangements are being handled by Maddox Funeral Home.

    Sorry to hear Jim moved to the Lords home. Jim was true to his church ,he was a great friend. Hope everyone can be at peace during these sad times.

    My sincere condolences to Jim’s sister Rosemary, and all of the extended family members of the Adelmann Family. I hold dear the memories of going to St. George’s grade school, and St. James High, Class of 1957 with Jim. He will remain in my thoughts and prayers , as will his brother Lou, and sister Catherine who went to be with the Lord before him. May they Rest in Eternal Peace.

    Thank You Jim Bradley for your constant updating of those persons that we were friends with during our younger years!
    Jim Adelmann was a friend and we served many Masses together as altar boys under Father Lennon.
    I enjoyed Jims friendship over the years, may God Blessings go with him to eternity…
