If you knew my Mom you knew that she was a great cook. She never just cooked one meat and vegetable, she would make 2-4 meats, vegetables, rolls, corn bread, frog bread or corn cakes. If you showed up at her home at a meal time she fed you.No matter weather it be breakfast, lunch or dinner she made more than enough to feed anyone showing up hungry. She never turned anyone away even stray animals were fed. If you needed a place to stay because for what ever the reason you had a home with her. I remember at one time there was at least 14 people she was cooking, washing and cleaning after . 7 of those were us children. Mom had a hard life and wax dealt some bad hands but she was never bitter or mean.I wish I had told her more of how proud I was to be her daughter. She was the most loving and kind person. Some did not agree with some of the choices she made but it didn’t matter she stood her ground. Well Mom you have earned you wings so its your turn to relax in Gods hands. I shall miss you so much but I hope you are dancing with all that went before you. I love you so please rest in peace.
Yesterday was a very incredibly hard day say goodbye to our mom. She had incredible determination and energy. Never complained took every day as it was and dealt with it. Loved all of her children looked forward to when the family got together. No one left hungry. She never met a stranger. God definitely got a special angel. She has gone home and at peace. Love her so much and miss her. The
