Herschell was a kind and gentle soul. He didn’t talk a lot but instead would often be observing quietly with a smile. I know he loved his children and grandchildren. I enjoyed knowing him for over 25 years. Sending hugs to his family.

So sorry to just find out that this kind man passed recently. We will remember him coming into the little “Chester Gap Grocery” store to pay for his weekly Northern Va. daily. Always paid in advance. Such a gentle man. Prayers to his beautiful wife Shirley and the family.
