Edith Glenrose Dwyer

Edith Glenrose Dwyer, of Front Royal, VA, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at her home.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 5, at 2:30 p.m. at Rivermont Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Seth Alcorn. Burial will follow in Beahm’s Chapel Cemetery in Luray.

Edith was born November 10, 1951 in Luray, VA, daughter of the late Thomas “Buddy” Dwyer and Oneta Seal Dwyer.

She was a member of Rivermont Baptist Church where she served the Lord as a Sunday school teacher for over thirty years. The Lord was first in her life, followed by her church, family and friends.

Surviving are one brother Donald Dwyer (Pat) of Fitchburg, MA; two sisters Nancy Andrews (Bobby) of Roanoke, VA and Jeni Belle Eisner of Front Royal; two nephews Kevin Dwyer and Thomas Dwyer both of Massachusetts; one niece Janet Deavers of Front Royal; four great nephews; five great-nieces; two aunts Ann Seal of Limeton and Olena Sours of Luray; one uncle Richard Sours of Luray; and many cousins and close friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 4, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rivermont Baptist Church, 575 Catlett Mountain Rd., Front Royal, VA 22630.
