Robert Daniel Wey, 76, of Front Royal, died on Monday, September 14, 2015.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 21 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Front Royal conducted by Rev. Kevin Beres. Burial will be held at Culpeper National Cemetery with military honors at 2:00 p.m.

Mr. Wey was born May 2, 1938 in Bronx, New York, son of the late Joseph Edward Patrick Wey and Sara Noonan Wey.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired with the Army National Guard.

He was married to the late Brenda Hicks Wey.

Surviving is one sister, Eleanor Strickland of Front Royal, Virginia.
