Albert William Shipe, 69, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Skyview Springs Rehab and Nursing Center surrounded by his loving family.
A graveside service will take place at 11A.M. on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Prospect Hill Cemetery. There will be a celebration of life to follow at The Front Royal Moose Lodge.
Albert was born on March 27, 1954 in Front Royal, Virginia to the late Robert and Mary Shipe.
Surviving Albert are his three children, Jessica Cooper (Todd), David Shipe (Jessica), and Stephen Shipe (Sarah); his two brothers; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews; and his best friend, Billy Nuckols.
Albert was an avid fisherman, enjoyed watching the Washington Commanders, and WWE Wrestling, but most of all he loved his family. He graduated from Warren County High School in 1973 and has lovingly raised his three children as a single father.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the wonderful staff at Skyview Springs for their exceptional care for Albert.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with the funeral services, and in lieu of flowers, Albert would have requested that you vote for Donald Trump in the next presidential election.

Sorry for your loss. Your family will be in my prayers.
Amanda

Jessica, please accept my belated condolences. May God’s grace give you peace and many wonderful memories bring you comfort.
Albert, you were always and always will be SO dearly loved!
I thank the Lord with all my heart for the times we were able to spend together and with the kids!!!
I thank the Lord, also, that I will be able to see you again one day!!!
Jessica, David and Stephen…I remember when you guys were just little…coming over every evening with Cassie and Christina and helping with your homework while your dad fixed dinner, watching tv afterwards, and all of us going to church together at my step-dad’s church…the AWANA Club for you kids and regular church on Sundays for all of us!!!
I wish those times had never ended, but I will ALWAYS hold those sweet, sweet memories close to my heart!!!
Thank you SO much for allowing me to be a part of your lives!!!
Thank you so much Sandy! for making him so happy and being a part of our lives. I love you and will always be grateful for you❤️
