Alfred worked hard all his life and make a good home for his children. No one was a stranger to him and he was cared for such a loving family. He was a tough old rascal, but was loved by all. He was a true friend and will always remain in our hearts. He is at peace and looking over us all. God Bless and prayers to his family.

Alfred was one of the toughest guys you could ever meet, but if you were lucky enough to be called a friend, he would do anything in the world for you. He and Bum Testerman took me on my first plane ride when I was about 9 or 10. It was an experience I will never forget. The entire Cockrell family will miss this true friend.

First of all to all his family sorry for your loss. I always though of him as family. He was one of my uncle’s best friend. And when my uncle came as sick and I was taking care of him. There was nothing that Al wouldn’t do for him or me. I called on him many times after my uncle’s death. What great visits we had. Al you will truly be miss how caring you were to everyone you knew❤️
