Arthur White, 83, of Buffalo Junction, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

A graveside service will be held Monday, February 2 at 12:30 P.M. in the Sterling Cemetery in Sterling, Virginia with Sammy Campbell officiating.

Arthur was born June 2, 1942 in Whitewood, Virginia, son of the late David and Elsie White.

He was a United States Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War and was a construction foreman for many years.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Surviving are two sons, Keith Wayne White and wife Johanna Ivette Merced White and Kenneth Patrick White; daughter, Cindy Lou White; eight grandchildren, Tyler Austin Deavers and wife Desirae Aleisa Cook Deavers, Kelsey Anne Deavers, Victoria Mae Deavers, Mary Allison Deavers, Amanda Kae Moore, Graham Moore, Teri Delayne Sayers and Asanti Wilson; and seven great-grandchildren, Cole Austin Deavers, Cohen Arthur Deavers, Tobias Andrew Decristofaro, Alayah Renee Porter, Nova Mae Porter, David Hart Lamb Jr. and Zane Kyrie Wilson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Elsie White; his beloved wife, Joyce Mae Pugh White; daughter, Rebecca Anne White Deavers; sisters, Frieda Edwards, Eula Lewis and Beula Gillespie; brothers, Frelin White, Denny White, O.G. White, Wendell White and Willard White; and great-grandson, Caine Alexander Deavers.

Pallbearers will be Willard Kyle White Jr., Richard Glenn White, Jimmy Lee Cunningham, Tyler Austin Deavers, David Hart Lamb Sr. and David Hart Lamb Jr.
