Asa “David” Pitkin Jr., 61, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at INOVA Alexandria Hospital.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 10 AM at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal with Pastor James Boyette officiating. Burial will follow at Panorama Memorial Gardens in Waterlick.
David was born on January 8, 1964 in Fairfax, Virginia to the late Asa Pitkin Sr. and the late Mary Blevins Jackson. He was also preceded in death by his son, Steven Pitkin and sister, Peggy Carmichael.
Survivors include his three sons, Asa David Pitkin III, William “Tony” Pitkin (Kayla) and Billy Pitkin; brother, Billy Joe Pitkin (Winnie); two sisters, Lorrie Duren (Charles) and Patricia Thomas; girlfriend, Noona Malay; eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
