Barbara-Jane “Blossom” Hickerson, 64, of Berryville, Virginia passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at her home.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring.
Ms. Hickerson was born on July 10, 1960 in Washington, DC to the late William “Bill” Cerri and the late Rosemarie Girard Laing. She has been a hairdresser in the Shenandoah Valley area for over 30 years.
Survivors include her son, Zach Hickerson (Caitlin) of Winchester, Virginia; two daughters, Kora Hickerson-Agrazal (Jorge) of Strasburg, Virginia and Barbie Zirkle (Jason) of Winchester; brother, Dean R. Cerri (Gail) of Covington, Georgia; former husband, Kenneth Edwin Hickerson of Strasburg; four granddaughters, Rheyonna Agrazal, Sarenna “Kiki” Agrazal, Brianna Smith and Sydney Atkins and four nieces, Judy Hickerson, Kate Sanborn, Natalie Cerri and Jill Cerri.
I’ve know Barbara since she was 2 years old. So many stories and memories. Gone way too soon. RIP BJ. Xoxo.
I knew Barbara and her kids when I lived in Front Royal. She was a special lady and I’m sure will be greatly missed by many. prayers for the family
