Betty Jane Giffin

Betty Jane Giffin, 72, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on the morning of November 11, 2024.

Betty was born on April 7, 1952 in Alexandria, Virginia to the late Selby Lagana and Alva Frye Robey.

Betty met her husband and started a family at a young age.  While living in Arlington, VA, she worked at a local florist for many years.  In 2007 she moved to Front Royal and began working at Martin’s grocery store.  Betty was kind, friendly, and a favorite to so many customers.  She loved going to the beach with her daughter and granddaughters and spending time with friends, family and neighbors.  She always thought of others and made sure to create lasting memories for everyone that knew her and spent time with her.

Surviving Betty is her loving husband of 56 years, Thomas Randall Giffin; her daughter, Tammy Dutch; her mother, Alva Robey; her brother, David Robey; and her granddaughters, Faith, Hope, and Jordan Dutch.

A Celebration of Life gathering of family and friends will be planned for the spring.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choosing.

Lost my loving sister-in-law; the person that loved my brother with all her heart and soul. She will be missed by so many, especially her spouse, children and grandchildren. May God bless the entire family and hold Betty in his loving arms.
