Calvin David Hines, 72, of Front Royal, passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, in the Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center in Winchester.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home conducted by Pastor Charles Jarrett. Interment will follow in Panorama Memorial Gardens at Waterlick. There will be a time of food and fellowship immediately following the graveside service at Master’s Touch Ministries.

Mr. Hines was born on September 26, 1945, in Mt. Jackson, son of the late Clyde David Hines and Barbara Mae Moomaw Hines.

Surviving are four sisters Valrie Moser and husband John of Ridgeway, Patricia Peterson and husband John of Harrisburg, PA, Judy Lewis of Luray and Bonnie Bowers and husband Leroy of Strasburg; two brothers Harvey Hines and wife Dolly of Middletown and Ronnie Hines and wife Ruth of Woodville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hines was preceded in death along with his parents by three brothers Cecil Hines, Dennis Hines and Clyde Hines, Jr.
Pallbearers will be John Moser, Tommy Moser, Clyde Hines, Mark Hines, Travis Hines and Jeffrey Hines.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 22 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
