Carrol “Pa” McKenzie Montgomery, 99, of Anderson, Indiana passed away on Friday, April 17, 2020 in Front Royal, Virginia.

Mr. Montgomery was born on May 13, 1920 in Lapel, Indiana to the late Preston Montgomery and Lelah Brehm. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Jean Montgomery and his second wife, Mabel Olive Montgomery.

He was a World War II Navy Veteran. Mr. Montgomery was passionate about bees and was a beekeeper for most of his life. For 60 years he worked as a machine maker and retired from General Motors Corporation.

Survivors include his daughter, Cyndy Little of Anderson, Indiana; son, Norman Montgomery (Sylvia) of Sterling, Virginia; granddaughter, Lauren Puckette (Drew); two great grandchildren, McKinley Mabel Puckette and Harrison Edward Puckette, and three close friends, Phil Cooper, Jay Jones, and Tom Daube.
