Cletus Edward “Bubba” Jenkins Jr., 74, of Strasburg, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16 at 2:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Sammy Campbell officiating.
Interment will be private.
Bubba was born November 28, 1950 in Winchester, Virginia, son of the late Cletus Edward Jenkins Sr. and Jeanette Modora Dodson Jenkins.
Surviving is his devoted wife of over 50 years, Linda Jenkins; two daughters, Tammy Williams of Bentonville and Pammy Dodson of Strasburg; one son, Cletus Edward Jenkins III of Front Royal; two grandchildren, Jessie Jenkins and Gary Jenkins; two great-granddaughters, Mya Kniceley and Rilyn Collin; one sister, Joyce Jenkins of Front Royal; and several nieces.
Bubba was preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters, Diane Burgess, Janet Taylor and Sharon Jenkins.
He was a carpenter by trade and he enjoyed playing cards, spending time with his family and was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 16 from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
