Darlene did my mother’s hair faithfully every Saturday for many years at her shop in Washington, Virginia. Her care, kindness, and dedication to her customers, who she treated like family, is something I will always remember. The Beauty Box has been missed these last few years, but Darlene will be missed much more. Warmest sympathies to her family, she always talked about them with such pride and love.
