I remember Don not only as a magistrate while in the sheriff’s auxiliary in Shenandoah County, but as the gentleman captain that rode with Jim Morrison and I down to Fort Bragg to deliver many boxes of books to be sent to our troops overseas the day that Operation Desert Shield became Operation Desert Storm.
He is already greatly missed!
So sorry to hear about Don. Please know I am thinking about you, Crystal, and all the family. May your dad rest in peace and be in a better place now. Sending hugs to you!

Don was a great man, father to Crystal, father-in-law to Mark, a great brother to Louise, Landon, Stanley, Linda & Betty. We have shared many great memories together, especially at Myrtle Beach. He used to get so sun burned, but would not complain, & be right back out on the beach the next day. He will be greatly missed. May God grant all the family, Peace that surpasses all understanding.
