Dorothy Susie “Sue” Kite Pearson, 73 of Linden, Virginia passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Front Royal, Virginia.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 2 PM at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal with the Rev. William Burrow officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Pearson was born on November 24, 1944 in Shenandoah, Virginia to the late John and Nellie Comer Kite. She was also preceded in death by her son, Edward Samuel Pearson III, eight brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Edward “Sam” Pearson Jr.; two daughters, Roxanna Jo Tito and Lorrie Lee Kinlaw; two sisters, Artie Burkholder and Naomi Chrisman and five grandchildren, Matthew, Mary, Samantha, Lydia and James.
Pallbearers will be Mick Chrisman, Jeff Chrisman, Bill Kidwell, Willard Bright, Stevie Bright and Richard Tito.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Dear Sam, I am so sorry that I wasn’t able to attend Aunt Sue service. I will always remember her beautiful smile and hearty laugh! I remember the times she and Aunt Naomi visited me at my work place ( Shenandoah Pharmacy), it was always with smiles and hugs! Daddy (Carl Lee) loved her ver much!
