    Dear Susan,

I was so touched to read of Bege’s passing. 100! WOW! I know Nancy would have wanted to share those years with her but hopefully they are now enjoying a Bourbon and visiting with old friends! Who Knows!
Thinking of her and your Dad brings back so many wonderful memories! She was an amazing Lady. Sending you lots of love and hope you find comfort in knowing she had a good life!
    Much Love,

“Bege” is fondly remembered by members of the Warren County Retired Teachers Association as a lady who was full of spirit and energy and lived life to the fullest. She and her teaching partner in the Business Dept. at WCHS, Martha Colvin Parker, were an awesome team for the students in their classes. We were blessed to have both as members of the WCRTA. We offer our sincere prayers to Bege’s family.

    Dear Susan,
Elizabeth and I send warm regards and sincere sympathies to you and your family. Our mothers were remarkable women in their longevity, living through WW II (part of the Greatest Generation), their contributions to the community and as role models to those around them. Your mother was always so beautifully dressed, with a smile on her face, and a calm demeanor. She was an excellent teacher, competitive bridge player, and very kind and welcoming to your friends. It seems she was always a friend of my mothers and my sister and I benefitted from the fun of that relationship.
May your friends, family, and faith bring you comfort and support during this time.
    Fondly, Elizabeth and Sally “Boucher”

Believe it or not, I think of Bege almost every day. About 20 years ago when I took a yoga class at what was then the Sutherlands, she and Jane White were classmates. The instructor asked each of us what we hoped to gain from yoga. Bege said she wanted to improve her balance so she could stand up and put her legs in her pants without falling down…… now I certainly understand what she meant! Another Front Royal legend has left us.
Sincere sympathies to you, my friend.
