We love you, Granddad! Can’t believe you’re gone. We will miss you deeply.
Tommy, You came into my life when I was 8 or 9. You were a Father to me, giving me away when I married, coming to my graduation and doing things Dads should do. You were the hardest working man I have ever known. You ran House of Fabrics for many years never missing a day. You remodeled our house from top to bottom even stoning it up. I saw you work two jobs because you were getting the shop off and running. You were a gentle man who everyone liked and admired. I will miss you more than I can say. It wasn’t easy taking on someone’s child and raising them Thank you for everything. God Bless and get some much needed rest. I love you and thank you for everything.
Grandad, you will be missed so much. I can’t believe you’re no longer with us. Mom and I were planning on coming to see you in the spring. The Lord called you home though, before we could see you again. I will cherish the memories I have of you from when I was a child. One memory that stands out is when you taught me, Amy, Kevin, and Eddie how to swim when we lived at the apartments in Front Royal. Rest in peace Grandad.
We will miss you! This is still hard to process, but hopefully you are in a better place now! I enjoyed as a kid coming to see you and great grandma over at the house. I remember going to the CIA building when I was a teenager with you the first time, and you asking me if I remembered to bring my ID, and me looking right back at you dumbfounded and saying I completely forgot it. I had to stay in the van that day while you hung the blinds, but you managed to do it. I got smarter the second trip to the CIA building, and brought my ID and got to actually see inside of it. Rest easy Great-Grandad and I hope to see you in heaven one day!
We wish to belated express how much we miss visiting with Tom at House of Fabrics. Although the workmanship at HoF has always been top notch, we usually stopped in just for a visit. We extend our most sincere condolences to the family.
I just loved the 35 years of knowing you and your wife. And as I moved on and out of Front Royal, coming in and out of the US, I would ALWAYS stop there to buy some swatches and chat. All these years. So many changes. Thank you for being a part of my life!
