Harry James “Buckwheat” Doman, 57, of Front Royal, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 28, 2016, in the Winchester Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 2, at 2:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Sammy Campbell officiating. Interment will be private.

Harry was born on October 7, 1958, in Winchester son of Matthew and Susan Doman of Calhoun, GA. He worked for B&B Signal as a foreman.

Surviving with his parents are his wife Tammy Doman; one son Mychal Slayden and wife Brittany of Winchester; two daughters Brandy Ritenour and husband Zach of Fort Valley, and Nicole Doman of Winchester; one step-son Thomas Evans of FL.; one step-daughter Candice Smallwood and husband Daniel of Woodstock; one brother Donnie Doman and wife Bonnie of Winchester; four sisters Brenda Russell and husband Robert of GA., Mary Bauserman and husband Gary of Zepp, Cindy Rush and husband Larry of Winchester, and Susan Ann Doman of GA; and ten grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 2, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
