Inge E. Pence, 87, of Browntown, VA, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Hidden Springs Senior Living.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 8, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be private at the family cemetery.

Mrs. Pence was born January 7, 1929 in Czechoslovakia, daughter of Georg and Berta Bauer. She worked for Warren County School cafeterias and later at Avtex Fibers for 20 years. She was married to the late Wilmuth James Pence.

Surviving are one son Marvin Pence and his wife Diane; one granddaughter Dr. Kristen Pence and her husband Josh Bowie; one great-granddaughter Tallulah Bowie, all of Browntown, VA.; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family in Germany.

The family would like to thank Dr. Thomas Ball, Daryl and Vicki Davison and the caring staff of Hidden Springs Senior Living where she resided the last three years.
