On August 25, 2025 James G. “Jimmy” Foster of Washington , VA passed away peacefully at the age of 79.

He was born May 1, 1946  in Flint Hill, VA to the late George E. and Louise Burke Foster.

Jimmy is survived by his brother,  Bobby A. Foster (Donna), and sister Dorothy E. “Dot” Browning . Additional survivors include brother-in-law Ennis Jenkins, Jr and numerous other family members and friends.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy  was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary L. Jenkins and Patricia A. Jenkins, brothers Donald E. Foster and George E. Foster Jr. and brother-in-laws Fred Browning, Jr and Junior Jenkins.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 4th at 11:00 am  at the Flint Hill Cemetery.
