Jean Brown Rock, 96, of Bentonville, Virginia passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Heritage Hall in Front Royal, Virginia.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 11 AM at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Front Royal with Rev. Ralph H. Crabill officiating.

Mrs. Rock was born on November 21, 1920 to the late Carson L. Brown and Ercell Fristoe Brown. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Bernell L. Rock.

She was a member of the old Bentonville Methodist Church and formerly attended the Limeton United Methodist Church. She was a member of the South Warren Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She graduated from Warren County High School and the Perry Business School in Front Royal.

She is survived by several cousins.
