John Ray
February 19, 1956 – September 9, 2025
John Ray passed away on September 9, 2025, at the age of 69. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles T. Ray and Charlotte Smith Ray.
He is survived by his brother, Robert Ray; his sisters, Debbie Ray Laird and Kathleen Horsnell; and his daughter, Samantha Ray.
John was a strong and stubborn soul who lived life on his own terms. Though his later years were not easy, those who knew him will remember his humor and his love.
A casual memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal, Virginia.
