Leta Jean North, 77, of Front Royal, VA died on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at her home.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 15, at 11:00 a.m. at WillisChapel Cemetery in Huntly, VA conducted by Sammy Campbell.

Mrs. North was born September 16, 1937 in Flat Top, WV, daughter of the late Oliver Lilly and Maude Emily Pack Lilly. She retired as a CNA. She was married to the late William Douglas North, Sr.

Surviving are two sons William D. North, Jr. and William Allen Smoot, Sr. both of Front Royal; two daughters Betty Lynn North and Wanda North both of Front Royal; five brothers and sisters Floyd Lilly, Donald Lilly, Macie Welch,Frances Palmer, and Jewell Bailey; and three grandchildren Doug North, William Smoot, Jr., and Chelsea Nicole Mikels. He was preceded in death by two brothers Archie Lilly and Junior Daryl Lilly.

Pallbearers will be Lee North, Jimmy North, Ryan North, Jim Lilly, Emory Lambert and Mike Gue.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chris North, Billy Davis, Jay North, Daryl Lilly, Randy Lilly, and Ronnie Lilly.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 14, from 7-9 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home.
