Lillie Clara Wilson Bryant, 98, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Commonwealth Senior Living.

Her graveside service will take place at 1 P.M. on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Pisgah Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 8153 E Lynchburg Salem Turnpike, Goode, Virginia 24556 with the Rev. Dr. Christy McMillin-Goodwin officiating. There will be a visitation the night prior from 6-8 P.M. at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 W Main Street, Front Royal, Virginia.

Lillie was born on October 14, 1925 in Forest, Virginia to the late William Wallace and Phebe Virginia Wilson. She was also preceded in death by her former husband, Morton “Ben” Bryant; her daughter, Clara Nance Bender; her grandson, Jason Hill; and her three sisters, Violet, Dora, and Ruby.

Surviving Lillie are her daughter, Rachel Hill (Tom); her siblings, Virginia Bryant, David Wilson (Gail), and Janie Keyes (Clinton); her grandsons, Gregory Hill (Robin), Nicholas Hill (Danielle), Andrew Hill, and Nathan Hill (Desiree); her son-in-law, John Bender; and her special kitty cat, Katie.

Lillie was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church. She was previously employed as a bank manager at Citizens Bank, and worked with the Coast Guard during World War II. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandsons.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church at 14 W 1st St, Front Royal, or to the Warren County Humane Society at 1245 Progress Dr, Front Royal.
