Connie and Steve,
Sending heartfelt condolences and our deepest sympathy for the loss of your beloved husband and father. May the beautiful memories of your times together bring you comfort.
Connie, Sandy and family – our thoughts and prayers are with you.
I was privileged to be a member of Lloyd Allen’s first band while in high school called “The Teenagers”. Lloyd Allen on guitar and Rennie (Chicago 7) Davis on piano were the backbone of our little band since they both could play by ear. The rest of us; H.M. Baker, Jimmy Marcus, Johnny Brubaker,
Tommy Dent and I had to depend on music. Lloyd Allen even made our folding music stands. We played a lot of gigs, mostly high school sock hops or at church parish halls. Occasionally we played at some restaurants. Mr. and Mrs. Painter were very supportive of our little band.
Being part of this group was a special highlight of my high school days. Many fond memories!

Connie,
Extending to you and your family our deepest sympathy. We are so sorry for your loss.
I am so sorry for Mr. Painter’s passing He was such a nice person and he will be missed
I guess I was in my middle teens when I became the drummer for The Shadows. There was Lloyd, Lucian Banister, me and a sax player whose name I can’t remember but I do remember playing at so many places. Especially squeezing into the corner stage area of the “Lucky Inn”. The ever showman Larry Lehew would pack-em-in…Lloyd was a solid guitar player as well as a good person and friend back then. I cherish my memories of those days. My condolences to his family.
So sorry to hear of Lloyd Allen’s death. We were neighbors growing up. We graduated together. He was a cousin but more like a brother.
My Thoughts and prayers are with the family. 🙏🙏
