Lois W. Bowling, 79, of Front Royal died Thursday, April 16, 2015, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

Lois was born January 14, 1936 in Etlan, VA, daughter of the late Matt and Vada Weakley.  She was preceded in death by her husband John A. Bowling, and her son Chuck Jenkins.

She is survived by her son Nathan Jenkins and his wife Tammy; brother Tim Weakley, a granddaughter, 2 great grandchildren, 3 nieces,and a nephew. Special thanks to Mitzi Norman & her husband Michael who were great friends to her during her battle against Alzheimer’s.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 20, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork St., Winchester, VA 22601
