Loretta Lynn Soyars

Born: September 13, 1974

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Loretta Lynn Soyars at the age of 50. Loretta passed away on January 22, 2025 at Winchester Medical Center.

Loretta was the beloved daughter of the late Elmer Lee Campbell, Jr. and Mary Katherine Campbell. She was also is preceded in death by her brother, Randolph “Randy” Campbell.

She is survived by her loving husband, Mike Soyars; her daughter, Ava Cameron (husband Aaron Cameron); son, Duane “DJ” Hullihan; and her grandchildren, Noah, Jayce, Laryah, Nevaeh, and Artemis. She also leaves behind her siblings, Ronald Campbell (Vicki Campbell), Jason Campbell (Pam Campbell), Cynthia Mendes (Noel Mendes Jr.), Liz Burke (Tony), and David Lee Burke; and sister-in-law, Theresa Campbell. All of us holding tightly to the memories we’ve created over the years.

Loretta faced many challenges in life with strength and determination. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, who brought her immense pride and happiness. Playing bingo was one of her favorite things to do.

A Celebration of Life service  to honor Loretta’s life will be held at Front Royal Elks Lodge on Guard Hill Road from 2:30pm till 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2025.
