Martha Virginia “Bill” Jones, 90, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018, in Warren Memorial Hospital.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 17 at 11:00 a.m. at Panorama Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dale Ramsey officiating.
Bill was born on June 28, 1928, in Rappahannock County, Virginia, daughter of the late Snowden Coleman Williams and Gurnie May Shifflett Williams. Bill was married to the late James Edward Jones.
Surviving are four daughters Dorothy Bennett of Browntown, Alice Riley of Winchester, Martha Hoover of Strasburg and Lisa Feathers and husband William of Strasburg; sister Marie Seekford of Front Royal; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Lewis “Tater” Jones, Sr. two sons-in law Ralph Bennett and Richard Riley; two sisters Elizabeth Scott and Ella Mae Brinklow; and four brothers Harvey Williams, Joe Williams, Dennis Williams and Elwood Williams.
Mrs. Jones you will truly be missed, such a sweet lady. Heaven gained another Angel.
Grandma Jones was a very strong loving and independent. I alway looked up to her.I will miss and always love you….♡♡♡♡♡
