Meghan Eileen Beller Sterett, 39, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 30, 2025, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family, after a beautiful two-day vigil of prayer, music, and community at her bedside.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, December 5, 2025, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 120 W. Main Street, Front Royal, Virginia, with Father Michael Duesterhaus officiating. Following the Mass, her burial will take place at Good Hope Cemetery.
Meghan was born on January 18, 1986, in Silver Spring, Maryland, to her mother, Mary Czwakiel Beller and her father, Robert Beller. Meghan and her four siblings were homeschooled by their parents. After graduating from high school, she attended Christendom College, graduating in 2008. Meghan spent her career teaching for Mother of Divine Grace School. In 2011, Meghan met the love of her life, Dominic Sterett, of Augusta, Georgia, at the wedding of mutual friends. They were married in June 2012, and their three beautiful children were born in 2013 (Isabel), 2016 (Justin), and 2019 (Abigail).
In May of 2023, the Sterett family embarked upon a yearlong cross-country camping adventure, visiting many beautiful places and dear friends. In the process they strengthened family bonds and created memories that Dominic and their children will treasure forever.
Upon coming back from their trip, Meghan became very sick with pancreatic cancer. She carried this cross with hope, grace, and her characteristic humor. Undeterred by her sickness, she pursued healing while continuing to make beautiful memories with her family and friends with joy and intentionality.
In addition to her parents, Meghan is survived by her devoted husband of thirteen years, Dominic Sterett; her children, Isabel, Justin, and Abigail; and many loving extended family members. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Nashville Dominicans, Christendom College, or the Front Royal Pregnancy Center.
