Melanie Lynn Clatterbuck, 51, of Luray, Virginia, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025 at her home.
All services will be private.
Mel was born November 30, 1973 in California, daughter of Judy Miller Lewis of Illinois.
Surviving is her husband of 13 years, Donald L. Clatterbuck; one son, Ira Curry, Jr. of Stephens City; one daughter, Ashley Rister of Illinois; step-daughter, Sarah Briggs of Front Royal; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild on the way.

I do not know the deceased, but I believe her husband, Donald, was a student of mine in Front Royal where I taught at the Intermediate School from 1969-1972. May Mel rest in peace. formerly, Miss Herman, Spanish, Reading, and English teacher there.
