Mildred C. “Millie” Smith, 94, of Winchester, Virginia passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at her home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 10 AM at St. Athanasius Church in Vienna, Virginia. Father Ortiz will be celebrating Mass. Burial will take place at 2 PM at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Front Royal, Virginia.

Millie was born on September 3, 1924 in Randolph, Massachusetts to the late Joseph and Maria Valente Camelio. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, William T. Powell Jr.; second husband, Paul W. Smith; daughter, Linda Saunders; two sons, William T. Powell III and Raymond Powell and eleven elder brothers and sisters.

She was a member of St. Athanasius Church.

Survivors include her son, Curtis Powell; daughter-in-law, Irma Powell; four step sons, David, Mike, Steve and Ken; twelve grandchildren, Susie Currie, Bill, Michael, Joseph, Maria, Anthony, Teresa, John, Regina, Emily, Colette and Francis Powell; two step grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be a Mass said for her or a donation to a Pro-Life organization or group.
