Myrtle E. Brandon, 92, of Springfield, Virginia passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Loving Arms of Front Royal, Virginia.

She was born on December 22, 1923 in Climax, Minnesota to the late Hans and Olga Berg.

Mrs. Brandon was a member of Fort Myer Chapel, Arlington and of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Springfield.

Survivors include her husband of 73 and a half years, Frank T. Brandon, 96, of Springfield; daughter, Rachel J. Sears of Fairfax, Virginia; two sons, Barry F. Brandon (Lorraine) of Bentonville, Virginia and David D. Brandon (Claire) of Front Royal; brother, Russell Berg (Doreen) of Mauston, Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Tiffany, Jennifer, Joshua and Zachary; three great grandchildren, Brooke, Keihle and Jillian and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal, on Monday, June 20, 2016 from 6 to 8 PM. Services will take place at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
