Nancy Virginia Dawson, 79, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at her home.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 2 PM at Panorama Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Larry Andes officiating.

Mrs. Dawson was born on May 10, 1938 in Warren County, Virginia to the late Lee Riley Franklin and Mary Lackovick Franklin. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Sonny Franklin.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Norman E. Dawson; three daughters, Vickie L. Dawson Atkins (Rob), Kelly Michelle Carter and Staci Dawson Strother (Danny); two brothers, Richard Franklin and George Franklin; two sisters, Elizabeth Daniels and Barbara Cook; three grandsons, Justin Carter, Nicklaus Strother and Nathan Strother; granddaughter, Tiffany Carter and her cat, Snickers.

The family will receive friends at the Bethel Assembly of God Church immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Warren County, 1245 Progress Drive, Front Royal.
