February 19, 1979 – August 24, 2025
Raegan was born and raised in Arlington, VA with her sister Justine S Miller and her father Richard S Miller, both deceased. She is survived by her mother, Ellen Williams, her nephew, Kane Miller, her half-sister, Patricia Johnson, and her two Uncles, Nathaniel Miller and Michael Miller. She also leaves behind her beloved rescue dog, Bodhi and all of her friends from Rappahannock, VA, Arlington and Alexandria, VA, Texas and Boston, MA.
Raegan worked primarily in the hospitality industry her whole life. Her first job at age 18 was the Outback Steakhouse in Arlington, VA. From there she moved to a long and successful career as a Top Gun server and accountant with Clyde’s Restaurant in Alexandria, VA.
She later moved to Rappahannock County to be closer to her family where she found a rewarding job as a server, manager, and bartender at the Griffin Tavern in Flint Hill, VA. She had a close circle of patrons and friends in the community that regularly came to see her when she was working. She will always be remembered and loved for her sharp wit, charm, spicy personality, and, best of all, her kind smile and beautiful eyes.
Raegan was an avid horror movie enthusiast, she loved tattoos, sharks, and lived for the Halloween season. She was a lover of all animals and supported many shelters and sanctuaries.
Raegan will be interred at Columbia Gardens in Arlington, VA with her family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please donate in her memory to RAWL Animal Shelter in Rappahannock County or local animal shelters of your choice.
She was a shining light and will be deeply missed.
As the days go by since she left this world, I can feel her presence quite often. I was lucky enough to work along side Raegan for many years. She made me laugh during the most difficult nights. We ran circles around that bar together and somehow even laughed through all that pressure. She was a fierce believer of animal rights and had the craziest sense of humor. Most of all she was a friend to so many people. She hugged bigger than anyone I have known.
I will miss you always Raegan and hope you find a way to sneak in a visit from the other side. If anyone can do it, it’s you. Love you girl.
Raegan was such a bright light and was always ready with a hug and a smile! She loved fiercely and was taken far too soon. She will be missed by so many. RIP beautiful.
