Rebecca “Becky” Carol Mason

Rebecca “Becky” Carol Mason, 60, of Elizabeth City, North Carolina passed away on December 9, 2024 in the comfort of her home.

A funeral service will be held for Becky at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 W Main St. Front Royal, Virginia with Sammy Campbell officiating. Following all services the burial will take place at Panorama Memorial Gardens.

Becky was born on January 16, 1964 in Alexandria Virginia to the late Ellis Lee Pearson Jr. and Paula Rose Kothenbeutel. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Cathy Pearson; and her dog, Lil Man Mason.

Surviving Becky is her loving husband of 19 years, Steven Mason; her daughters, Leigha Turley (Tobias) and Lisa Howell (Jeremy); her sister, Sharon Hope Blevins (Bryan); her grandchildren, Wesley, Lacy, Lillian, Madison, Lilly, Peyton, Lucas, Skyler, Emma, and Ian; her great- granddaughter, Kensley; additional loved ones, Patricia, Leisa, and Donnie Lee Shell Jr.; her nephews, Christopher and Jerramy; and her great-niece and great-nephews.

There will be a time to visit the family from 7 to 9 P.M. on Friday, December 13, 2024 at Maddox Funeral Home.

Becky loved adopting dogs, gardening, fishing, and being a mean thrifter. She graduated from Lord Fairfax with an accounting degree and is an alumni member of Phi Theta Kappa. More than anything she loved her grandbabies.

    Hi, I’ve known Becky since she was a little girl. I knew her sisters and parents. I’m so sorry for the loss. My prayers go to her husband and family. Look to Jesus he will help you all through this tough time. Cathy DiGennaro. My son Burt Simpson sends his Condolences. God Bless you all.

    I met Becky at Lowes and she was a very kind person. She was friendly and always willing to help. I also know her husband and I send prayers to him and all of her family during this difficult time. I’m so very sorry for your loss. I’ll be praying for your strength.
