Rickey Lee Shell, Jr., 44, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 10 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, September 21 at 1:00 p.m. at New Hope Bible Church with Pastor Bobby Stepp and Pastor Mike O’Neil officiating. Inurnment will be private at a later day in Zepp, Virginia.

Rickey was born May 6, 1980 in Front Royal, Virginia, son of Betty L. Windle Shell of Front Royal and the late Rickey Lee Shell, Sr.

He was a proud member of the Local Union 26 of the IBEW.

Surviving, along with his loving mother, are two sisters, Penny Shell Digges and Dena Rae Shell, both of Front Royal; and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; and a sister, Vickie Arlene Shell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Windle, Eric Hawes, Evan Hawes, Jason King, Jayson Edwards, and Howard Morris.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 21  at the church.
