Rosie “Marie” Seekford, 83, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at her home.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 2 PM at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal with Sammy Campbell officiating.  Burial will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Front Royal.

Mrs. Seekford was born on August 25, 1941 in Chester Gap, Virginia to the late Snowden and Gurnie Shifflet Williams.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Seekford; three sisters and four brothers.  She worked for Royal Haven Nursing Home for 37 years.  Prior to that she worked for Front Royal Garment.

Survivors include her three daughters, Tammy See (Curtis), Donna Ferguson (James) and Nicole Clatterbuck (Shane); two step daughters, Kelly Butler (Bobby) and Tina Seekford; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Butler, Cameron Tussing, Aaron Davis, Melissa Hardman, Steve Wright and Kenneth Newman Jr.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
