Rupert Daniel “Danny” Hill, 74, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Winchester Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 5 at 11:00 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal with Sammy Campbell officiating.  Entombment will follow in Panorama Memorial Gardens.

Danny was born on June 28, 1949 in Front Royal to the late John Douglas Hill and Ruth Ogden Mauck.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during Vietnam.

Surviving is his son, Christopher Daniel Hill of Beckley, West Virginia; brother, Ricky Edward Hill of South Carolina; sister, Barbara E. Hill of Richmond, Virginia; and a dear cousin, Judith “Judy” Plisko of Ohio.

Pallbearers will be Chris Hill, Jeff Leser, Charlie Boyd, and Roy Dalton.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 5 from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
