Russell William Clatterbuck, 78, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at his home.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 11 AM at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal with Bishop Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in Panorama Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Clatterbuck was born on June 23, 1939 in Rappahannock County, Virginia to the late Roy W. and Virginia Whorton Clatterbuck. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Charles Clatterbuck. He retired from Wilson Trucking in 2000 after 26 years of service.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Doris Jean Clatterbuck; two sons, William Michael Clatterbuck of Winchester, Virginia and Ted Bryant Clatterbuck of New Hampshire; daughter, Rita Fay Saylor of Stephens City, Virginia; two brothers, Jim Clatterbuck of Ogden, Utah and Nelson Clatterbuck of Front Royal; eight grandchildren and five great grandsons.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
