Samule Edward Crigger 71, of Tazewell Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022.

He suffered with Dementia for many years & passed away peacefully with family by his side at Hiram Davis Medical Center in Richmond, VA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Clifton Crigger & Vicie Gray Puckett Crigger.

He is survived by his wife Anna Leora Crigger, his 3 children, Paul Edward Crigger, Allen Scott Crigger & his wife Tammi Crigger, Jennifer Denise Cerul & her husband Andrew William Cerul.

Samule had 7 grandchildren whom he loved dearly. Cheyene Nicole Crigger, Kelly Marie Crigger, Alexandra Lynne Crigger, Justin Allen Crigger, Zackary Elijah Cerul, Wyatt Allen Cerul, Michael Lee Mullins, & Brandon Dean Mullins.

He also had 4 great grandchildren Autumn Rayne Crigger, Levi Jeremiah Crigger, Lily Elizabeth Arnold , & Aubrey Rose Arnold.

The funeral was held on June 20, 2022, at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal, VA.

Samule, was a quiet & humble man. He was very hardworking, & devoted husband & father. He taught his children how to work hard, help others when needed, & to love the Lord.

Paul, Allen, & Jennifer looked up to their dad & loved him dearly. He was always there for them through their ups and downs no matter what.

He and his wife Anna (Sissy) never left each other’s side until he was placed in a nursing facility to care for him through his stages of Dementia. But even then, they remained in each other’s hearts.
