Sharon Ann Bonner Miller, 72, of Front Royal, Virginia fell into eternal rest while surrounded by her loving family on January 19, 2025 at Warren Memorial Hospital.
Sharon was born on December 18, 1952 in Sacramento, California to her late mother, Pamela J. Bonner, and her father, Retired U.S. Air Force Colonel William T. Bonner, Jr. She was also preceded in death by her son, Wesley Bonner Miller, her sister, Jean Marie Flowers, and her brother, L. J. (Butch) Bonner.
Along with her father, she is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Christopher J. Miller, Sr.; brother, William T. (Billy) Bonner III; sister, Catherine A. Bonner; sister, Marie E. Holmes and husband Scott; her sister-in-law, Kathy Bonner; her children, Holly Leach, Christopher Miller Jr., Michael Miller, Joseph Miller; eighteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many cousins in England, including her mother’s namesake, Pamela Peacock.
Sharon was a devout Catholic with a deep faith, the matriarch of her family, and an irreplaceable fount of love, generosity, and authentic British wit. She dedicated her life to her family and was truly the heart of her home. She was a talented cook and was happiest at home surrounded by her beloved family. Her grandchildren were her crowning glory.
A Requiem Mass will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 27, 2025 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel, 5267 John Marshall Hwy, Linden, Virginia 22642 with Reverend John Carlisle officiating. Directly following the Mass, her burial will take place at Prospect Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving visitors on Sunday, January 26, 2025 from 6-8 p.m.at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 W Main St., Front Royal, Virginia 22630. Reverend Carlisle will lead a Rosary for the repose of Sharon’s soul at 7:30 p.m.
Pallbearers will be her sons and eldest grandsons.
