Victoria F. “Bee Bee” McDaniel, 73, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center in Winchester, Virginia.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 11 AM at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal with Sammy Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Panorama Memorial Gardens.
She was born August 9, 1942 in Front Royal to the late Ernest Smedley and Dorothy Preston and has been a lifetime resident of Front Royal. She was also preceded in death by her in-laws, Red and Granny McDaniel.
Victoria was a graduate of John S. Mosby Academy class of 1960, a past president for the Warren Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, past president of the Front Royal Fire Department Auxiliary, past President of the Front Royal Jaycettes, and past treasurer of the Delta Rho Sorority. She was known to never refuse a request of help from friends, neighbors or the community.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Joe McDaniel; sister, Brenda S. Ring (Larry) of Front Royal; sister-in-law, Joan Curl (Bill) of Front Royal; nieces, Alice Mauck (Nathan) of Strasburg, Virginia, Audra Bounds (Julius) of Cross Junction, Virginia, Amber Ring of Front Royal, and Julie Grove (Josh) of Front Royal; nephews, Abram Ring of Front Royal and Brad Curl (Tammy) of Front Royal; great nieces and nephews, Tyler Henry, Josiah and Jared Bounds, Christopher, Caleb and Cailyn Miller, Reagan and Gavin Grove, Ryan Curl and Preston and Cameron Mauck.
Also surviving are her special friends, her caregiver, Helen Heater and her neighbor, Yen Chang.
The family will receive friends at Maddox Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 6 to 8 PM.
Pallbearers will be James Hafer, Lynn Armentrout, Nathan Mauck, Julius Bounds, Abram Ring, and Bill Wiseman.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mr. and Mrs. E.M. Buddy Beverage, Mr. and Mrs. James Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Frame, Harry Deavers, James Farrar, Charles Prince, Mr. and Mrs. Percy Shepherd, Lisa Welsted and Lori Breeden.
The family requests there be no flowers and in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 West Cork Street, Winchester, Virginia 22601.
