In childhood, I remember Virgil as being kind and always having that infectious smile. He seemed to be a gentle soul to me, and although I know he may have had his sad moments in life….its his smile and his kindness that I will always remember. The last time I saw him….I did not recognize him right away, because I had not seen him since childhood (except a short video clip my sister had showed me). He had attended his cousin Wayne’s funeral in 2023, and at the repass he was sitting right across from me at a table I had sat down at. Being socially awkward at times…I was not particularly looking, or engaging in conversation with anyone else at the table except my husband & son. My mind that day was pretty much elsewhere….but then I looked in his direction and my eyes focused in on who was sitting across from me. It was Virgil, Michicko and Aunt Bessie. I just couldn’t believe it….I was so happy to see them! Virgil was just smiling from ear to ear. When they got ready to leave…..Virgil kissed me on my cheek, and said it was good to see me again. I’ll never forget that. Rise in Power Cousin, and may the Creator’s, Love, Peace and Comfort be Forever with You in the Spirit Realm, and also to all those who loved him.💞IE
