William “Bob” Skillman Jr., 76, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at the Skyview Springs Assisted Living in Luray, Virginia.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 10 at 12:00 p.m. at the Front Royal Church of the Brethren with Pastors Bobby and Diann Whetzel officiating. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Bob was born May 2, 1948 in Front Royal, Virginia, son of the late William Robert Skillman, Sr. and Hattie Selias Woodward Skillman.
He owned and operated his own pavement striping business for many years.
Surviving is his wife of 43 years, Edna M. Skillman; one step-son, Joseph Dodson of Front Royal; two sons, Nathanael Skillman and Bobby Skillman III, both of Front Royal; one sister, Mary Lynn Babcock of New York; and mother-in-law, Edna West of Front Royal.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Roberta.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 10 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the church.

Following the graveside service, all are welcome back to the Front Royal Church of the Brethren for a time of food and fellowship.
