I had the distinct pleasure of being Mike’s Admin Assistant for three years in Maintenance. Mike was a joy to work with. He was funny, fair and one of the nicest people I’ve ever met! My thoughts and prayers are with all of Mike’s family and friends, especially his wife, whom he adored. RIP Mike!

Mike was my brother-in-law. He knew tons about cars, and helped me with my first Chevy way back in 1981. He was always there with a smile and a joke. He especially took pride in his work. I remember him driving me around Front Royal, showing me the work he and his team had done, modifications and upgrades to school buildings. Mike also appreciated anyone who could play an instrument and often had me play him a latest song on my guitar. I recall him being the center of attention at our house-warming party, ‘holding court’. We’ll miss him.

I was fortunate enough to have Mike as a friend for over twenty years. He was one of our golfing buddies that went on trips every year. Mike always had a smile and a great sense of humor. I moved to the Myrtle Beach area four years ago but Mike and I stayed in touch and he even came down last year to see me and play some golf. I will miss him terribly but also have comfort that he is now in Heaven making an early tee time. My deepest condolences to Gina and family. RIP my brother.

Mike didn’t know a stranger. He was one of the kindest people you could meet and would help anyone he could. Gina was the center of his world. He will be greatly missed.
